Our Faithful Hands — Policies
We are honored to care for your children and pets. These policies exist to ensure safety, clarity, and a respectful experience for everyone.
1. Booking & Scheduling Policy
All services must be requested through direct communication and are confirmed based on availability. A booking is not considered final until confirmed by Our Faithful Hands.
2. Cancellation Policy
We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
Late cancellations or no-shows may result in denial of future service.
3. Payment Policy
Payment is due according to posted rates and policies. Pricing is based on the type and length of care provided. A sliding scale may be available for families experiencing financial hardship and may be requested privately.
4. Sliding Scale Policy
Sliding scale pricing is reviewed on a case-by-case basis and depends on availability and sustainability. All information shared for sliding scale consideration is kept confidential.
5. Health & Illness Policy (Child Care)
For the safety of all families, we cannot provide care to children with contagious illnesses (including fever, vomiting, diarrhea, or other symptoms that pose a health risk). Parents will be notified immediately if a child becomes ill during care.
6. Pet Health & Behavior Policy
Pets must be reasonably healthy and free from contagious illness. Pets with known aggression, biting history, or unsafe behavior must be disclosed before booking. We reserve the right to refuse service if safety is a concern.
7. Emergency Policy
In an emergency, we will prioritize safety and attempt to contact the client immediately, followed by emergency contacts. If necessary, medical or veterinary care will be sought according to the authorizations provided.
8. Transportation Policy
Transportation of children or pets must be pre-approved and authorized in writing. Additional forms may be required.
9. Photo & Media Policy
Photos or videos of children, families, or pets are only taken or shared with written consent. No identifying information is ever shared publicly.
10. Privacy & Confidentiality Policy
All personal information is kept private and used only for service-related purposes or legal requirements. We do not sell or share personal data.
11. Right to Refuse or Terminate Service
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services if:
There is a safety concern
Information was not disclosed
Policies are repeatedly violated
The care requested is outside our scope
12. Policy Changes
Policies may be updated periodically. Clients will be notified of significant changes.
Our Faithful Hands is committed to serving families with integrity, compassion, and respect. These policies exist not to restrict, but to protect — and to ensure a safe and positive experience for everyone involved.
